Ingredients
4 medium russet or Idaho potatoes (7 ounces each), washed and dried
Olive oil spray
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional Toppings:
Sour cream, Greek yogurt, butter, chili, chives, broccoli, cheese, or any of your favorites
Instructions:
Prep the Potatoes:
Use a fork to pierce each potato all over. This helps the steam escape while cooking.
Season:
Lightly spray each potato with olive oil and season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Air Fry:
Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 35-40 minutes.
Turn the potatoes halfway through cooking.
Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center of the potatoes—if it slides in easily, they’re ready!
Serve:
Split the potatoes open and top with the remaining salt, pepper, and your favorite toppings.
