Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet or Idaho potatoes (7 ounces each), washed and dried
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional Toppings:
  • Sour cream, Greek yogurt, butter, chili, chives, broccoli, cheese, or any of your favorites

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes:
    • Use a fork to pierce each potato all over. This helps the steam escape while cooking.
  2. Season:
    • Lightly spray each potato with olive oil and season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
    • Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  3. Air Fry:
    • Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
    • Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 35-40 minutes.
    • Turn the potatoes halfway through cooking.
    • Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center of the potatoes—if it slides in easily, they’re ready!
  4. Serve:
    • Split the potatoes open and top with the remaining salt, pepper, and your favorite toppings.
