2 pounds jumbo cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
⅔ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
Lemon (quartered)
Instructions
Add the garlic, parmesan, pepper, oregano, basil, onion powder, and olive oil to a large bowl and mix to form a coating.
Place the shrimp in the bowl and stir gently until every piece is covered with the mixture.
Lightly coat your air fryer basket with non-stick spray, then arrange the shrimp inside.
Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, or until the seasoning has browned.
Finish by squeezing fresh lemon juice over the shrimp just before serving.
NotesChoosing Shrimp:
Opt for jumbo cooked shrimp that are already peeled and deveined to streamline the process. Fresh shrimp should look firm and slightly translucent. If using frozen shrimp, thaw completely and pat dry so the coating adheres properly.
Seasoning Tips:
The blend of garlic, grated parmesan, dried herbs, and olive oil creates a rich, savory crust. Make sure each shrimp is evenly coated. Adjust the herbs or pepper to suit your taste, keeping in mind the natural flavor of the shrimp.
Air Frying Advice:
Preheating the air fryer to 350°F helps the coating crisp nicely. Arrange shrimp in a single layer so they cook evenly. Depending on your air fryer, flipping halfway through may help them brown on all sides. Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon for a bright finish.
