Ingredients
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, parsley, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with the spice blend.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into a 4–6 quart slow cooker, then add the seasoned chicken.
  4. Cut the butter into small pieces and place them on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for about 3 hours, or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing for the juiciest results.
