Ingredients
  • ¼ cup olive oil – or any light, neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – adds deep umami flavor
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce – for salt and balance
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar – a touch of tang and sweetness
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard – helps emulsify and adds zip
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried) – for brightness
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary (or 1 tsp dried) – earthy and aromatic
  • 1 tsp black pepper – freshly ground is best
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme (or ¼ tsp dried) – adds subtle flavor
  • 1 clove garlic, minced – or more to taste
Instructions
  1. In a glass bowl or freezer bag, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, parsley, rosemary, pepper, thyme, and garlic.
  2. Add up to 2 pounds of steak, turning to coat evenly.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and discard used liquid.
  5. Grill or broil steak to your preferred doneness. Rest before slicing and serving.
