Ingredients
2 cups finely chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup vegetable oi
4 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Prepare the Batter:
In a large bowl, combine both sugars, eggs, and vegetable oil.
Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Mix in the flour and salt until smooth, then add the vanilla extract.
Fold in the chopped pecans.
Bake the Pecan Bread:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and place it in the oven.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
Cool and Serve:
Remove from the oven and allow the pecan bread to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
