Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste
For garnish:
  • Freshly chopped parsley (optional)
For serving:
  • Bread of your choice (focaccia is a favorite!)

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Seasoning Mixture:
    • In a medium, shallow bowl or plate, combine the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and dried oregano.
  2. Add the Cheese and Olive Oil:
    • Grate the Parmesan cheese directly into the bowl, and then pour the olive oil over everything.
  3. Mix and Season:
    • Stir the mixture together using a spoon.
    • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste.
  4. Garnish (Optional):
    • If you like, garnish with fresh chopped parsley (or basil) for a burst of color.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve with pieces of your favorite bread, such as focaccia, for dipping. Enjoy!
 
Storage Tip:
  • Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Just bring it to room temperature before serving again.
