Quick 10-Minute Air Fryer Shrimp

Ingredients
  • 1 lb shrimp, medium to large
  • 1.5 Tbsp olive oil or grapeseed oil
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • To garnish: lemon wedges, fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. If the shrimp still have shells or veins, remove them first. Pat the shrimp dry so the seasoning sticks well.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400ºF (200ºC).
  3. In a small bowl, combine paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the olive oil to form a loose paste.
  4. Place the shrimp in a bowl and pour the mixture over them, coating each piece thoroughly.
  5. Spread the shrimp in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. If your basket is small, cook them in batches so they cook evenly.
  6. Air fry for 6 minutes at 400ºF/200ºC, flipping the shrimp halfway through.
    • Larger shrimp may need 8–9 minutes to finish cooking.
  7. Once done, squeeze a bit of lemon over the shrimp and top with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
  • Seasoning ideas: You can mix things up with cayenne, Cajun seasoning, allspice, cloves, lemon pepper, nutmeg, or cardamom.
  • How to know they’re fully cooked: Shrimp turn pink or orange and curl into a C shape. They should be firm but still tender when pierced with a fork.
  • Storage: Keeps up to 4 days in the fridge or 2 months in the freezer.
